Rheem's Aussie Plumbers'
Hidden Talents
BRIEF:
Rheem is one of the world's oldest and most trusted manufacturer of hot water systems - unfortunately their social media was stuck in the past too. Damn Good were approached by Rheem's long-time agency Matterhorn to assist in executing a campaign to drive traffic to the brand's newly created Facebook page. The client wanted to find a way to reach their primary market - plumbers - in a fun and engaging way. Rheem's Aussie Plumbers' Hidden Talents was born.

SOLUTION:
Rheem's Aussie Plumbers' Hidden Talents is an on-line talent search targeting Australia's plumbers. Damn Good used it's contacts to secure the services of Australian A-lister Shane Jacobson as host, and a launch video was created, which garnered over 20 000 views for Rheem's brand new Facebook page. Plumbers submitted their entries via a website created by Damn Good, and every 2 weeks a "highlights" show was produced.

The Finalé was an extravaganza - Damn Good produced a 1 hour program broadcast via Facebook Live (watched by over 30 000 people); a 4 camera outside broadcast with live studio audience saw the talent flown in from all over Australia. Damn Good also provided studio space, lighting, audio, staging, talent management - even a giant cheque!
The program was so successful, it is still running 4 years later, with no end in sight!
